Friday, June 21, 2013 - Disgorged 24 July 2012. Avize, Cramant and Oger from three successive years. Beautiful, softly aged, slightly oxidative nose of browned butter, white truffle, white flowers. Wonderful, dry palate, with narrow flavors that persist on the palate with nice richness. Some might find this a bit austere currently as the core is still fairly compressed. Another couple of years of post-disgorgement age should develop additional richness and generosity. A fabulous wine that I wish I had in my cellar.
