88 Points

Saturday, December 27, 2014 - Modern style, atypical Sangiovese. Medium body, dark ruby red color, aromatic, red fruits, plum, tobacco notes and oak aroma, ripe cherry, strawberry, prunes and sweet wood on the palate, prunes and cedar on finish, cedar nuts on long finish, rich, velvety structured, balanced and complex, thin acidity, ripe tannins, food friendly. Well match to heavy cheeses or mushrooms soup. Open about one hour in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. Completely matured. Drink now and next couple years.
