Sunday, May 17, 2020 - Served blind. Translucent brick red. Brown spices and red fruit on the nose that were absolutely beguiling. I had though that it was likely VR because of the spice. Elegant in the mouth with some nice acidity. Surprised to see it was GC on the reveal but I am horrible at identifying wines so... I guess not that surprising and, in the end, Fourrier made complete sense. This is the kind of stuff I love and why I keep emptying my wallet in Burgundy.
