Wednesday, September 7, 2022 - [Magnum] Clear pale yellow colour. Fortunately a completely clean bottle. I am critical of my bottles at a group tasting but I think this was an honest smoke show tonight. Traces of the signature Leflaive reduction / sulfur / smoke nose and more in the way of light golden tropical fruit. Booming / wafting nose. Bombastic and tropical. Rich and dense but not heavy; zippy. Both mineral and creamy. Loads of yellow fruit power and energy. Lots of life ahead. Precise and lengthy. Very impressive, very lucky.
