It was especially good with our lamb shawarma from Mamoun's, which was a great pairing. Nevertheless, I think this wine will be so much better with some more bottle age: perhaps 2 years. I will mark my remaining bottles 3 for 2018. We paid $20 on close-out (good QPR) but I don't think it is yet a great $50 retail bottle.
