Sunday, October 25, 2020 - Medium-dark garnet color with the faintest hint of brown. An odd but compelling nose of cocoa, mushrooms, and red berries. Sharp, sweet berries on the front palate. A touch of vanilla cream at the mid palate followed by more red fruit and cocoa. Lingering cocoa and creme in the finish. There is also a bit of funk, which might have blown off if I had met is decant more than an hour, but it was more additive than distracting. Delicious.
