Saturday, February 8, 2020 - Compact purplish colour. A young, powerful and elegant nose with ripe dark fruit including blackberries, liquorice and some tar, some flowery notes. Full-bodied but fresh, with the same dark notes as in the nose although with more presence of tar notes, fine acidity, prominent but well embedded and rather silky tannins, some "gravelly" minerality and a long aftertaste with tannins. Young but reasonably approachable, will improve with further cellaring. 95(+) pts.
