Tuesday, June 18, 2013 - Too young for me to score accurately, but lots of upside. Even on Day 2, this is pretty tight. Smells remarkably fresh for a young Cameron Pinot Noir. No discernible "funk" that I have come to expect after the past several vintages. Red fruit trending dark with tart notes, maybe a light squeeze of ruby grapefruit. Freshly turned damp earth and some savory minerality. Energetic acidity in the mouth, even after half the bottle sat on the counter overnight, and definite tannin structure. I'm going to let this one rest at least a year before checking in again. 90-92?
