Friday, January 10, 2014 - A little time in bottle has made a difference in the best way. Crushed raspberries and cranberries with the faintest hint of carnival cotton candy intertwine with sweet earth and vanilla oak. The funk is absent this time around. Zingy acidity carries the palate from start to finish, but with a light creaminess lending to the slightest tannic grip, attaching cheek to gums like static long after the finish. I love this wine, and only one bottle left that would probably be best in 2 years.
