Thursday, May 27, 2021 - It's the Big LX Birthday Bash: No Holds Barred (Minikahda Club, Mpls): Murky dark burgundy red color with 5mm clear edge. Splash decanted and followed a glass over an hour. Well, unfortunately this did not turn out as hoped for. Vegetal nose, black currants, dried cherry pasate, cereal, medium bodied, tannins hanging on, a little volatile. It was an interesting study and fun to try; drinkable but just not a great bottle. I suspect there may have been some storage issues here. Score reserved.
