Wednesday, February 5, 2014 - The 2010 Hubert Lignier Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is medium (-) ruby in colour with a perfumed nose of juicy cherries and some underlying minerality.

A very soft entry on the palate with bright thin-skinned berries and red skinned apples. The mid palate then progresses to perfumed wood notes with a lasting steely minerality. There's a good strength of acidity that gives the wine a good and firm structure. Soft but not flabby at all. Good concentration and juiciness; very clean and fresh in style. Great value stuff, very pleased to have tried one again.
