Thursday, February 2, 2017 - Simply stunning, very mature Montrachet. Darkish color and fabulous funky nose. Then a kaleidoscope of flavors that cascade over the tongue. Full and rich with a creamy texture and good acids underneath but this is fully mature showing notes of caramel, truffles, hazelnuts and tropical fruit that's been lying in the sun too long. So intense and complex on the finish. Decadent and funky and extraordinary! At Latour, Crystal Springs 2/1/17
