Sunday, February 19, 2017 - {screwcap, 13.5%} Now quite a deep gold. Intense, developed nose of vanilla and citrus. But there's still a grassy sort of greenness to it, hinting at an eternal youth beneath. The palate is aging but lively, with a dance of citric fruit, hints of honey and marzipan and nougat, always dry, with medium acidity, medium/full weight, and a medium/long finish. I imagine this has hit peak, but feels like it will hold for another half-decade easy. All hail the screwcap!
