Friday, March 11, 2022 - I'm not necessarily in the Fourrier camp of extreme ripeness but I must say that this was a delicious bottle of Burgundy. Very ripe exotic cherry fruit is balanced by succulent acidity and lots of brightness. The finish is juicy and intense with notes of cherry spice and sparkling minerals. I see no purpose in aging this further as it's showing its undergarments completely and unabashedly. At Zachys BYOB La Paulee.
