Friday, September 7, 2018 - Wow! Hugely expansive on the palate from the get go. Served from Riedel sommelier Chablis glass and that seemed the right choice. Vinous hazelnut on the nose, a silky sweet oaky palate with a lime note to finish off which rings long. Hands down amazing and probably the best 2006 champagne I had. Easily better (at this stage) then the Dom 06 I had two days prior. May 2013 disgorgement. Drinking gloriously now and probably a very good future ahead too. Dare I say better then the 08 of this? The 08 was more about apple, this is more oak and lime. More vinous is the 06. Both are great wines.
