Saturday, May 20, 2017 - This seems to be very good rather than great Yquem. Excellent orange gold color out of this half bottle. Rather gentle bouquet of oranges and spice. Medium weight in Yquem terms, very good acidity. Not especially marked by botrytis. Refreshing Sauternes but I would not pick it out blind as mature Yquem from a splendid vintage.
