Saturday, October 21, 2017 - Completely different from the last bottle even though it’s from the same source and lot. Simply magnificent. Glorious concoction of botrytis, apricot, orange, clove, tangerine, mango, honey and more. A viscous heavyweight but similar to the ‘67, the balance is exquisite so it’s not at all tiring. Clearly at its peak but no rush to drink up, even in half bottles. This is why Yquem is the king of Sauternes - and why you need to wait decades to find out.

10/23/2017 3:12:00 PM - This is the best Yquem I have enjoyed the last 40 years, close second is the 1976 or 1988.
