Thursday, December 14, 2017 - Christmas Wimps (La Tromplette, Chiswick): Slightly subdued at first, then floral, with pure underlying dark fruit. Medium bodied, leish but attractively so, elegant, pure dark fruit, retains its floral character on the palate, vibrant acidity with fine but still perceptible tannin, good length finish. Excellent, classic Cote-Rotie, still quite youthful. ****
