Wednesday, February 24, 2016 - Medium ruby color with bricking. Much lighter color and weight than the Beaucastel counterparts (2007 and 1998), and more elegant but not as complex, but all were good (though the 2007 was too young). Quite a bit of fine sediment. Surprisingly sweet red cherry fruit and black licorice; moderate oak but plenty of spice. An amazing value and drinking great now.
