Thursday, April 21, 2016 - Had to tease out the nose but once I did it was inviting - a pleasant underbrush note in addition to strawberry and cranberry. Palate was smooth with the same flavors, but I had to tease that out too. It tasted as if it had lost its freshness and was in decline or, more likely, was in a slightly muted (but not totally dumb) phase. I have little experience with Cru Beaujolais, so will wait three years for my second bottle. Pleasant enough though to drink now.
