Monday, January 3, 2022 - Purchased in Bordeaux over the summer and drunk for Xmas 2021. No formal notes. Had this straight after the 2013 Langoa Barton and the similarities were striking, but this had a degree more purity and deeper cassis fruit. Still quite youthful. A touch of mahogandy and cedar as well. Excellent wine. Scored at 94pts in the moment (the magic of Xmas), objectively probably about 91-92pts.
