Friday, March 17, 2017 - Picked up while on vacation at a LWS and ended up not drinking and bringing it home, which was a year or so ago—the cork was also partially extruded, so given all this, my expectations were not particularly high here. Overall, not too bad though, actually. Transparent garnet in color with light bricking. Aromas of black cherry, forrest floor, smoke, tar, dill, and a light vegetal note. Light to medium body, medium acid, shortish finish, and flavors of black and sour cherry, black tea, and lemon. Tannins are lightly grippy, so I'd say it's got a few more years in it.
