Picked up while on vacation at a LWS and ended up not drinking and bringing it home, which was a year or so ago—the cork was also partially extruded, so given all this, my expectations were not particularly high here. Overall, not too bad though, actually. Transparent garnet in color with light bricking. Aromas of black cherry, forrest floor, smoke, tar, dill, and a light vegetal note. Light to medium body, medium acid, shortish finish, and flavors of black and sour cherry, black tea, and lemon. Tannins are lightly grippy, so I'd say it's got a few more years in it.

a little past it's prime, but very enjoyable. wish i had more. more mellow, and less pie cherry, more like bing cherry. no oak, and no smoke. less like a french, more like a cal. Thankfully, no cola!

Pinot Noir. France. Provence, Vin de Pays des Coteaux du Verdon. Rose red color. Burst my fruit aroma with hint oak boquet. Light body Luscious fruit with short, low-simple tannic oak finish. Fruit-sweet, low acidic finish. Silk texture with a fine sandy finish. Nice, sweet table wine. A little bitterness in the wine / finish.

A dull red in the core with a slight cola color in the rim. The nose is dominated by red cherries. This wine felt unbalanced. There were strong sour cherries at the beginning, then an oily-prune mid-palate, followed by a short, weak finish. The earthy tones were barely there.
