nose - per cindy, like opening up and old cedar chest..., per brian ...and finding a bunch of mouse droppings. Musky, and with time developed quite the nose of stinky sock - overall the nose is a touch unpleasant.
mouth - restrained dark cherry fruit and increasingly with time a heavy soy sauce component. good minerality and still tannic. quite savory, and doug even commented 'umami'. decant and drink with a chunk of meat.
