Taste is of dark berries, cranberry, graphite, minerals. Medium body and has a subtle finish that hints at a splash of water in the glass. Aside from bright acidity this is well balanced. Smooth and not tannic. Reminds of Pinot Noir in a way. Next time, I'll try to pair with food that demands acidity (hearty tomato sauce or vinaigrette flavored).
