Wednesday, December 28, 2022 - Burg lunch at SSG. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted blind. Showed well!
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of green apples, citrus lime, green melon, stony minerality. Developing.
On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with incisive cutting flavours of precise stony minerality, chalk, hint of brine, citrus lemon-lime, green apples, green pear, green melon. Long acidic finish.
Very good quality. This bottle has come into its own now. Entered into the drinking window. Should still go on developing over the next 5 years.
