Only light yellow. Fresh, sea side, lemon and some anise in the nose. Lovely balance of ample, plush orchard fruit and acid, with salinity and an interesting bitterness on the finish. This is in its prime now

Burg lunch at SSG. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted blind. Showed well! Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of green apples, citrus lime, green melon, stony minerality. Developing. On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with incisive cutting flavours of precise stony minerality, chalk, hint of brine, citrus lemon-lime, green apples, green pear, green melon. Long acidic finish. Very good quality. This bottle has come into its own now. Entered into the drinking window. Should still go on developing over the next 5 years.

Pale yellow. After a couple hours open and a little warming this shows well. Lime, chalky, citrus blossoms nose. A sweetness with a real cut, lime peel, savory. Long and delicious.

glad this was my last bottle, this has a softness (and smokiness??) to it (a la 2013) that doesn't please me... '12 and '14 were much better vintages, and glad I still have some of those!

CNY wine dinner at Crab At Bay. Tasted blind. Drank over 2 hours. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of stony minerality, elderflower and gingery spice, green melon/pear. Developing. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of stony minerality, green melon/pear, green lime, green ginger spice, fatty cream. Long finish. Nice minerality initially, but then the overall picture on this night was just weird. Most probably this bottle is at an awkward phase now.Warrants more age to truly flesh out as a proper Chablis Grand Cru. Giving this the benefit of the doubt.

Youthful and aromatic nose bursting with fresh cut lemon, green apple, unripe pear, elderflower, grass and chalk dust. It puts on more weight with higher temperature and toasted pine nuts and a whiff of old wood comes through.
Fresh and vibrant on the palate with medium(+) acidity and barely medium body. The flavors mirrors the nose and comes with great intensity. The finish is long and intensive with truckloads of citrus fruits.
Definitely enjoyable today with all that vibrant youthful fruit but this will grow a couple numbers with aging. Let it put on a bit of weight and some tertiary aromas and this will be a lot more interesting.

Popped and poured, light straw tinged with yellow. Sublime nose of floral citrus, ripe apple, iodine and an impression of saline minerals. Moderate-plus acidity, quite concentrated. Multi-faceted & complex, with intense notes of of ripe stone fruits and key lime perfectly juxtaposed by subtle salinity and electrifying acidity, the sum carrying through on an endless close. Perfectly tense yet absolutely delicious, this is textbook Grand Cru Chablis and a stunning example at that. Drink now.

Very nice balance, good concentration, and lift. The extract comes across as substantial, but while I'm pondering how this is going to balance out on the palate, the acids move in, along with some nice chalk, oyster shell, white and yellow fruits, and a little soil. Good flavor development already, with even more in just the next 2-3 years. If I had any more, I'd hold till 2021 - should be in great spot. recommended
Aerated to decanter 1 hour, served non-blind.

Beautiful balance, soft and lush, yet sharp acidity showing its youth. Green apple, lemon zest, wet stone, saline. This is approachable now as it is amazingly well balanced, however, I don't feel like you get the full impact of these grand crus until they mature, I would hold for now. 92+

Bouchard Père et Fils Cellar Visit, Tasting and Lunch (Beaune): Tasting at Bouchard. Most floral wine of the Fevre lineup with lots of apple, coming across as beautifully balanced and approachable today, but with the substance and concentration to age gracefully and pick up weight. Also very good.

Wines Tasted at the La Paulée Verticals Session (The Maybourne, Beverly Hills): Magnum. Deeper yellow. Funky aromas with acetate. Medium to light weight but little depth. Honeyed, dull, and woody. Why did they even bother showing this?

Ljusgul färg, drag åt det gröna
Grönt, nyklippt gräs, lime, finns en del diskreta fat
Hög syra, stramt, medium+ längd
Krävde mycket luft men växte efterhand. Verkligen en härlig GC Chablis

Light yellow with Citrus nose. Citrus on palate, too. So concentrated and fleshy with a salty and chalky finish. Bravo!
