Sunday, December 24, 2023 - 8th of 12, decanted an hour, perfect cork and level, less substance but more refinement than 03 and 2000 on same night, beautiful balance and freshness of 01 and today showing greater complexity, well made as ever, limited upside, 12+ years. F+ (18)......others preferred the richer and sweeter palates of the 00 and 03 and, although I preferred 01 on the night, I suspect the other vintages are the better bet for the long haul, particularly the 2000.
