Monday, June 21, 2010 - The nose has a lot of depth -- dark fruit nose with earthy and cedar notes, but also a brightness. The palate is still fresh even though a bit more mellow than a year ago. Bright cherries on the palate, with good acid and dusty earthy noes. Very clean overall and long finish. Really seems like something more like a good brunello than a mere "rosso". I'm going to hold the last one until next year, since it clearly is still very vibrant.
