Saturday, February 20, 2021 - Significant bricking really rust colored. Very ripe plum with a fig note. Definitely still has life. It’s what you imagine very old burgundy to be. Was very much enhanced by food. Started with some triple creme Brie and then chicken with a burgundy mushroom sauce. Used a umami spice which brought it all together. Don’t think this is a stand alone wine. Recorked and brand new label.
