Friday, November 18, 2022 - Acker JK 51st birthday in NYC. Red fruited perfumes, spices and moderate Gevrey dirt, followed by red cherry inflected flavors. There is certainly a ood depth of flavors, the mouth is very elegant, just lacking a bit in density and sweetness, but that's 2014, not a generous vintage. Good lingering mineral finish at the end. Was much better right after opening than after 3 hours of air as it tightened a lot. This is a bit skinny to be at grand cru level but this is very good and in need of another 5 years to reveal its potential.
