Thursday, April 19, 2018 - Wonderful maturity of fruit and finesse. Lush palate and medium to long finish, integrated spine of tannins and acidity portrays a beautiful wine of another 3-5 years + but at its peak and wonderful so why hold. Had with sliced cold sausage and cashews, a pure delight. Outclassed a nice but young 2013 Conn Valley Estate Reserve tonight during scrabble with Gail. I would definitely buy another of these, any vintage, at the right price. A new fan of RC now. Note: nicely cellared since original purchase in 06-7.
