Wonderful maturity of fruit and finesse. Lush palate and medium to long finish, integrated spine of tannins and acidity portrays a beautiful wine of another 3-5 years + but at its peak and wonderful so why hold. Had with sliced cold sausage and cashews, a pure delight. Outclassed a nice but young 2013 Conn Valley Estate Reserve tonight during scrabble with Gail. I would definitely buy another of these, any vintage, at the right price. A new fan of RC now. Note: nicely cellared since original purchase in 06-7.

Popped and let breathe in bottle for about two hours and then consumed over the next three or so. Not as good as the last bottle we had with a steak - I am sure that took away from the experience a little bit. Definitely drinks better with some rich food. The two hours of air in the bottle was not quite enough. Lots of raspberry fruit on the nose and palate and with a medium finish.

Decanted for about one hour before consuming. Loads of raspberry fruit with fine tannins that are well integrated with some air time. Fairly long finish. Very nice bottle of wine. Wish I had more than just one of these left.

Beautifully age Mt veeder cab. Short decant, lots of sediment, and paired great with prime rib.

Pours pretty dark for 18 years old. Great nose. Full mouth. Balanced and layered. Moderaye complexity. Great with lamb.
