Community Tasting Note

Saturday, September 17, 2016 - I did try a bottle on the weekend, but did not take a formal tasting note. I found it much better than the 2012 tasted recently as well, but the 2013 likely benefitted from a 3-4 hour decant. If anything there is a bit less of the black and blue fruit (I commonly get blueberries on young Tigs) and more black and purple fruit. It is deftly balanced and very smooth even at this early stage. The last handful of vintages have all scored in the 93 to 95 point range and IMO this is right up there near the top.
