Thursday, March 19, 2020 - Almost two years ago, DJS wrote "drink soon". I had tried one before then and had given it an 88. If anything, it has improved slightly since then. Although it does seem to be either at or just past its peak, I suspect that the screw-top closure has retarded its decline. Oh yeah, about the wine: berries and bramble on both nose and palate. BIG fruit on the palate, but only a so-so finish. An 88 or 89 point wine, but it set me back only $15 and change. Rating based on QPR would be more like 98 or 99.
