Tuesday, May 10, 2022 - A simply beautiful bottle of wine and clearly shows why this is often referred to as the "Burgundy of Bordeaux." So silky smooth and finely delineated with classic aged Pomerol flavors of truffles, minerals and violet spices. More on the red fruit side with a creamy, savory texture and a fine, crisp finish that shows some green notes. Interestingly, a real smell and flavor of spearmint developed late in the glass. Very ready now and best after only a short decant.
