Wednesday, December 19, 2018 - In a beautiful line-up this was served side by side a magnum Dom Perignon 69 and a magnum Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle with base wines thought to be from the late 1950s (both of these were fantastic bottles). The BdM 83 was served from standard bottle. As it gained some air and temperature it rose to match these other two titans in my opinion. The most beautiful melange of macadamia, honey, roast hazelnuts means it is probably THE champagne of my birth vintage. Heavenly stuff! Thanks for sharing Willem.
