  • Gylden gul. Utviklet, men ungdommelig som få. Friske epler, aprikos og after eight i en mindblowing kombinasjon. Fiskehavn, tang og tare. Delikat i munn. Burgundersk i sin luftighet og eleganse. Luftig og delikat mousse. Millioner av små bobler. Kaffe, sjokolade, kjeks, frukt, sitrus, epler, sitrus. En helt vanvittig sammensetning av frisk frukt, moden frukt, sekundære og tertiære aromaer som er ytterst sjelden kost. Utrolig vin. Dyr, men verdt hver krone. En kvalitet som ingen rundt bordet var forberedt på.

  • Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millenaires 1983 - 2004: Dark golden colour, but not bronze. Ripe, full bodied, ripe, warm, red apples, concentrated - seems quite like a PN not BdB in fact. Lovely harmony and concentration - what it lacks in freshness it delivers with quality of fruits and balance.

  • Gogget i 1994.
Lysere og yngre i uttrykket enn 85.
Lett og elegant - fremstår vesentlig yngre enn sine 36 år.
Savner kanskje litt detaljer på nesen.
    Perfekt kremet mousse.

  • In a beautiful line-up this was served side by side a magnum Dom Perignon 69 and a magnum Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle with base wines thought to be from the late 1950s (both of these were fantastic bottles). The BdM 83 was served from standard bottle. As it gained some air and temperature it rose to match these other two titans in my opinion. The most beautiful melange of macadamia, honey, roast hazelnuts means it is probably THE champagne of my birth vintage. Heavenly stuff! Thanks for sharing Willem.

  • Surprisingly fresh exotic fruits on the nose. On the palate, amazing structure with well kept bubbles. Developed brioche and long lasting floral finish. Would keep for a few years at least.
