Sunday, June 28, 2020 - The Grand Crus of Chambertin with Jasper Morris MW (Zoom!): Lots of old vines in this vineyard, and on a natural rise that captures the sun. Very pale colour once again though. Really interesting nose, with menthol and dried flowers. Neither stems nor new oak show, but they've both been used. Lovely seductive red fruit, and a sense of ease - very Charmes, notes JM. My WOTN, Group #2
