The Grand Crus of Chambertin with Jasper Morris MW (Zoom!): Lots of old vines in this vineyard, and on a natural rise that captures the sun. Very pale colour once again though. Really interesting nose, with menthol and dried flowers. Neither stems nor new oak show, but they've both been used. Lovely seductive red fruit, and a sense of ease - very Charmes, notes JM. Burghound Symposium Asia - Perrot-Minot Dinner (Hong Kong): A notch lighter color than the 2015, nose of red and blue fruit. Elegant, soft palate, precise, soft tannins. Lighter than the 2015 but really nice and mineralic. Good stuff 94-95

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Black and red fruit with some earthy and meaty notes. Lighter styled Gevrey Grand Cru, with moderate concentration, very good finesse. A wine that requires some attention.
