Wednesday, July 11, 2018 - Nose of matchstick, lemons, pears, and herbs to start. The matchstick blew off somewhat to let the tart yellow fruit, herbaceousness, and, of course, the mint show through. On the palate the fruit is somewhat subdued and dominated by very linear acidity. I still loved it for its precision and purity though. It's always a real treat to drink a wine this singular and racy. Hold until 2020 at least.
