Thursday, September 7, 2023 - Crimson in color. 13% ABV. Savory nose of dark fruits, bacon fat and flowers. Medium body with medium acidity. There is an old world rusticity complemented by tart fruits. Plum, cherry, iodine and fatty meats on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. Really good but I was left hoping for more. Best over the next several years.
