Extremely funky nose, with wet wood, earth, barnyard, and some faint green herb notes, there was luscious black and blue fruits coming through on the palate. This is a full bodied wine, maybe not the best pairing with food unless you have something very rich, but you can't go wrong with this for under $25/bottle.
