Saturday, November 11, 2023 - Same bottle as Melvin. Great from the get-go. Somehow the slightly tired Clair got more attention in this flight but I thought this was showing beautiful balance and very good weight from the first pour. Was thinking lesser GC from 2012 given the weight, or perhaps a slightly younger 1er from a top producer, perhaps 2017. Fruit more in the dark spectrum. Aromatics on the mid palate a bit muted still - upside from here.
