Wednesday, June 1, 2022 - Wine Pages Giro d’Italia Offline at 67PM (67 Pall Mall): On first pour maybe a little acetone on the nose and even a little spritz which is a bit concerning but this blew off to give dried red cherry and raisin, rose hip and grenadine.
Really unctuous palate - the red fruit element is still there and the acidity cuts through the sweetness nicely.

Sagrantino made this way (Passito) was the historical norm in Montefalco and used for communion wine and this has a hint of the divine. I bought a couple of bottles of this at the winery and sadly this is my last and seems unavailable in the U.K.
