Sunday, June 14, 2020 - Smoke, bitter orange and furniture on the nose. Really big wine once in the mouth - starts saline and quickly fans out to dominate the palate with salted caramel, dark chocolate and general rancio, but completely dry. Acidity is high and the overall effect is similar to a Madeira. Really long and always demands another sip. Has sufficient depth of flavour to accompany BBQ meat with alacrity.
