Thursday, October 14, 2021 - Aristocrat's Wine Dinner (Joe & Khem's Place, Mpls): Medium dark red plus color with a 7mm transition to clear margin. Splash double decanted then slow-O'd from 11am to 5:30pm and recorked until serving about 7:15pm; drank a glass over 2.5 hours. What gorgeous wine, there's a great perfume of leather, cherry, lacquer, Fall forest floor, roses and scorched earth that continues to build over the first hour. The palate is equally appealing with a medium body and and polished tannins along with pretty red fruits of tart cherry and red raspberries, leather, dried wood, tar, baked cherry cobbler, and an iron infused and gravelly finish. This has many years ahead. Outstanding! My and group WOTN.
