Thursday, October 12, 2006 - The syrah and petie syrah really come through in the poweful fruit foward blend. Blackberry and blueberry jam appear almost candied and is counter balanced with a soft cedar and musky spice. The finish is suprisingly delicate, especially when compared to how big this wine is on the palate, with dried current and spiced sun dried raisins.
