Sunday, January 3, 2021 - The last time I had this wine must be 20+ years ago. It was a favourite. I can’t really remember where I got it. It might have been Davy’s wine store. I remember it being not quite dry, a beautiful wine. My memory may fail me but I’m certain that it is now quite different. Still a beautifully made wine but quite dry. Grapefruit with a hint of pineapple. Lovely weight of wine but I suspect higher in alcohol now. A very clean wine. Some comment that it seems like a Viognier and I can understand that. However, Semillon is dominant on the nose and Sauvignon on the palate. I enjoyed this a lot and it went very quickly!
