On first pour, the wine is all about the grassy aromas, but given some time to breathe the citrus aromas come through as well as white flowers and gravel. The palate matches with some additional flavors of vanilla and toast. Searingly high acid makes this wine better with food. The flavors linger and finish with a brininess. 100% sauvignon blanc.

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is robed in shades of silver moon. The nose presents very dry of mineral and flint with some lymon. Not a lot of fruit here, but quite a bit of enjoyment with a firm perhaps even taught structure, but neither sharp or severe. This is a stripped down version of Sauvignon Blanc. Some apricot teased out by the time the wine warms a touch, but not a lot. A quaffable wine that pairs well with food. 13% alc. With crabcakes. 05.14.22. Recommended.

Greenish yellow body. Nose is cut grass, green tropical fruits. Palate lacks layers and unctuous texture we were hoping for. Nothing Bordeaux about this wine. Could easily be a Californian pinot gris or Sauvignon blanc. Acid is high, and so is alcohol... the only parts of the palate that are heavy. Disappointing QPR. Clos Floridene blanc from same producer runs laps around the Doisy.
After 6 days in the cellar, the acid mellowed and more Bordeaux-like flavors arrived, mint and mineral showing now. Still thin but adding a point for its improvement.

The last time I had this wine must be 20+ years ago. It was a favourite. I can’t really remember where I got it. It might have been Davy’s wine store. I remember it being not quite dry, a beautiful wine. My memory may fail me but I’m certain that it is now quite different. Still a beautifully made wine but quite dry. Grapefruit with a hint of pineapple. Lovely weight of wine but I suspect higher in alcohol now. A very clean wine. Some comment that it seems like a Viognier and I can understand that. However, Semillon is dominant on the nose and Sauvignon on the palate. I enjoyed this a lot and it went very quickly!

Nose - pineapple , tropical Mouth - fresh cut pineapple ; impressively tropical given that it’s coming from Northern Europe ; and without the slightest hint of grass to boot; long sleek pineapple finish. This is an impressive showing with less oak influence than the 2016- I like it better and this cuvee is now becoming one of my go to sunny day whites. Bravo. Good QPR to boot.

Bight acidity, crips, lemon and grass, good but I feel it may get a notch better or maybe we needed a different food.

Light straw in color. Flavors of peach, apricot, honey, and citrus; herbaceous on the finish. A light and refreshing summer wine.

100% Sauvignon. Medium lemon-golden hue, viscous tears @13% abv. Aromas of gooseberry, cut grass, elderberry and eucalyptus. Dry, medium(+)-high acidity, medium alcohol and, medium(-)-medium body. Palate of lemon, grapefruit, star fruit, yellow plum, apricot, white pepper. Focused, racy finish with intense cutting acidity and slight bitter notes. Clean, neat and well-defined. Lacks depth.

Interesting blend with some peach flavors along with the typical SB Semillion blend flavors.

This wine does not disappoint. A very correct white Bordeaux of immense charm. A little pricey but most enjoyable.
